Expert Profile: Senior Advisor of PwC Asset Valuation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and former Senior Partner of PwC China. Mr. Chen has long focused on PwC’s M&A, auditing, valuation and related advisory services in Mainland China and Hong Kong, accumulating over 30 years of extensive experience in investment, financing and valuation consulting. He has consistently followed issues related to fair value measurement in accounting, auditing and valuation, gaining substantial hands-on experience in practice. In recent years, he has actively participated in research, projects and advisory services relating to intangible assets and intellectual property valuation, data asset measurement and valuation, sustainable development (ESG), carbon assets, and other related topics.

Abstract: A review and outlook on the development of the International Valuation Standards (IVS) and other mainstream international valuation standards, including but not limited to: ① the main content of the IVS and the key changes in the 2025 edition; ② an overview of the UK Red Book Valuation Standards, the US USPAP, and the European Valuation Standards; ③ key points of other international guidance.
