Professor CHEN first presented the current status and development plans for the ACCA program at DUFE's School of Accounting. He noted that the ACCA program has evolved from an initial major-streaming model to a stable, independent admissions track, now comprising four classes with student quality consistently ranking among the best in the school. As one of the six earliest institutions in China to officially enroll ACCA students, DUFE has developed a mature ACCA faculty team and remains committed to optimizing its program structure.

Xiaoxin WANG highly recognized the achievements of DUFE's ACCA program, emphasizing its "flagship role" in ACCA talent development in Northeast China. Drawing on her work experience at Deloitte (Beijing, Shanghai, and London offices) and the Commercial Section of the British Embassy in China, she highlighted the urgent demand for internationally oriented accounting professionals driven by the overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises.

Yan SONG provided a detailed explanation of the latest ACCA syllabus updates for 2026: the number of examination papers will be reduced from 13 to 11, with the addition of core employability modules such as the "Data Science Module" and "Digital Technology and Innovation." The application of digital technology in finance will be incorporated into the Strategic Professional (P-level) courses. Meanwhile, interactive online learning modules (e.g., "Responsible Business Management" and "Ethics and Professional Skills Module") will strengthen practical skills. ACCA will also organize dedicated faculty training to ensure that university instructors keep pace with the new syllabus requirements.

Fei HUANG discussed specific topics with the school, including ACCA exemption policies and the application of digital management systems.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties clarified their future areas of collaboration. Professor CHEN stated that School of Accounting will continue to aim at "building a premier ACCA talent hub in Northeast China," deepening industry-education integration with ACCA to cultivate versatile accounting professionals with both international perspectives and local service capabilities.
