Recently, the MPAcc Student Case Competition Organizing Committee released the List of MPAcc Teams Advancing to the Second Stage of the 12th MPAcc Student Case Competition and the Award List of Undergraduate Teams in the 12th MPAcc Student Case Competition.
The MPAcc teams authorized by the School of Accounting of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics – “Kuai Dao Wan Li Lai” (supervised by Fajing CUI), “Lucky Star Group” (supervised by Yue YU), “Shi Guang Po Xiao Dui” (supervised by Yunyun JIN), and “Born to Be First” (supervised by Yue YU) – stood out among 320 registered teams in Northeast China and successfully advanced to the second stage of the preliminary round. The authorized undergraduate teams, “Chao Neng Li” (supervised by Yue YU) and “Lucky Squad” (supervised by Wenzhang SUN), won the first prize and second prize in the Undergraduate Team category, ranking first and second in Northeast China respectively.
The MPAcc Student Case Competition, guided by the National Accounting Professional Degree Graduate Education Steering Committee and organized by the MPAcc Student Case Competition Organizing Committee, is the highest-level competition in MPAcc education nationwide. Having been successfully held for eleven sessions, the competition is highly valued by MPAcc training institutions and features fierce competition. It aims to cultivate and enhance MPAcc students’ ability to discover, analyze, and solve practical business problems, serving as a stage for students to showcase their talents and a booster for personal growth.
The School of Accounting of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics has consistently focused on case-based teaching, engaging deeply in case study research, case development, and competition practice. Through classroom teaching, the school promotes collaboration between teachers and students in case creation, teaching reform and teaching model innovation, empowering teaching, research, learning, and discipline development with cases, thereby strengthening students’ problem-oriented research skills. At the same time, the school actively guides graduate students to participate in case competitions, fostering a mutually reinforcing educational environment between teachers and students, and comprehensively enhancing the quality of graduate education.
