On September 29, the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences announced the list of approved projects for the 2025 National Social Science Fund (NSSF) Annual Project. Professor Geng Yunjiang from the School of Accounting received funding for a general project.
The NSSF project represents the highest level and most competitive research funding in the field of philosophy and social sciences nationwide, serving as a guiding, authoritative, and exemplary force in the humanities and social sciences. The ability and capacity to undertake NSSF projects constitute an important indicator for enhancing a university's core competitiveness and promoting the sustainable development of humanities and social sciences research.
Moving forward, the School will continue to strengthen full-process management of research projects, supporting faculty in producing more scholarly outcomes of theoretical value and practical significance, and further enhancing the School's influence and contribution to philosophy and social sciences research nationwide.

Yunjiang GENG, professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Accounting, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE), holds a Ph.D. in Management and has completed postdoctoral research in Management Science and Engineering.
She has published over 60 papers in both Chinese and English journals, including Accounting Research, Public Finance Research, and Humanities and Social Sciences Communications. She is the sole author of three monographs and has received research awards such as the First Prize of the Liaoning Provincial Natural Science Academic Achievement Award and the Second Prize of the Liaoning Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Achievement Award.
