Prior to the forum, the School distributed a teaching quality questionnaire to students at all levels. Students actively responded, providing a total of 1,367 valid responses covering areas such as teaching management, course scheduling, instructor performance, and teaching facilities, thereby laying a solid foundation for the forum.

During the forum, the attending faculty provided detailed answers to representative questions identified from the survey. For difficulties encountered in classroom learning, students were advised to proactively communicate with their instructors and seek immediate resolution in class. Regarding course scheduling, students were encouraged to better understand the academic program, clarify their learning objectives, and make systematic academic plans. As for suggestions concerning teaching management and teaching conditions, the School indicated that it would categorize and address these issues with targeted measures, resolve them promptly, or report them to the relevant university departments. The meeting also emphasized that class academic representatives should continue to serve as a bridge for communication between faculty and students, ensuring that student opinions and suggestions are conveyed in a timely manner and that the School’s teaching notifications are accurately communicated.

As a core component of the mid-term teaching inspection, holding this faculty-student forum each semester enables the School to promptly identify and resolve pain points and difficulties in the teaching process, facilitates smooth communication channels between faculty and students, further improves the teaching management system, enhances faculty and student satisfaction with teaching work, and continuously elevates the level of teaching management and classroom teaching quality.
