Two Faculty Members Granted Funding for 2025 (NSFC) Projects

On August 27, the official website of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) released the Evaluation Results for the 2025 NSFC Projects. Two faculty members from our school have been approved for funding. Among them, Professor Hang LIU received a General Project grant, and Associate Professor Ping GUO received a Young Scientist Fund (Category C) [formerly Young Scientist Fund] grant.

The NSFC serves as a key indicator of fundamental research capacity at universities and research institutions. The number and funding amount of NSFC-supported projects directly reflect the research caliber of these institutions in their respective fields. Following the launch of the 2025 NSFC application cycle, the School of Accounting has placed great emphasis on the application process. The school proactively invited renowned experts and scholars from both within and outside the university to organize experience-sharing sessions, topic selection workshops, and specialized guidance meetings. Comprehensive guidance was provided on proposal writing standards, research design, and the articulation of key innovation points, enabling faculty to iteratively refine their application materials and thereby effectively enhance the overall quality of the submissions.

Moving forward, the School of Accounting will take this achievement as an opportunity to further strengthen research support, improve research service and guarantee systems, encourage faculty to focus on national strategic needs and disciplinary frontiers, conduct original research, and promote high-quality development of scientific research at both the university and school levels.
