At the workshop, Gao Ming, AACSB Certification Coordinator, provided a detailed overview of the basic status of AOL assessment, reaffirmed the principle of aligning exam question design with course learning objectives, explained the specific methods for score calculation, and reminded faculty members to ensure diversity in assessment formats and properly retain electronic materials for on-site visit verification. She also reminded faculty members to emphasize diversity in assessment formats and to properly preserve electronic materials for future on-site peer review inspection. Subsequently, program directors and course coordinators engaged in discussions on practical challenges encountered during the assessment process, and exchanged views on improvement directions and subsequent work plans. Participants unanimously agreed that, as core materials in the process of AACSB certification, AOL assessment data should be standardized and traceable, and that continued efforts should be made to ensure the effective implementation of assessment practices, thereby forming a complete closed loop for teaching quality enhancement.

This workshop focused on the formulation of learning objectives, optimization of assessment mechanisms, and pathways for continuous improvement. It identified existing issues in areas such as course design and task allocation, optimizing the course assessment process. The workshop further deepened faculty members' understanding of the core standards of the AOL assessment system, enhanced their operational norms and practical competencies in conducting AOL assessments, and laid a foundation for further advancing AACSB international certification and improving the teaching quality assurance system.
