Recently, the Department of Education of Liaoning Province announced the list of members of the Liaoning Provincial Expert Advisory Committee on Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education. Professor Yuan QI from the School of Accounting was appointed to the committee in recognition of her extensive experience and outstanding achievements in the field of curriculum-based ideological and political education. In recent years, the School of Accounting has consistently prioritized the development of curriculum-based ideological and political education as a core element in fulfilling its fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education. - Introduction to Auditing was designated as a National Model Course for Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education, with its instructors recognized as National Exemplary Faculty and Team for Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education.
- Financial Management was among the first batch of Liaoning Provincial Model Courses for Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education, with its instructors recognized among the first batch of Liaoning Provincial Exemplary Faculty and Team for Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education.
- One faculty member received first prize in the Fundamental Accounting category of the inaugural "Same Course, Different Approaches" Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education Teaching Competition.
- Two teaching achievements related to curriculum-based ideological and political education won first prize in the Provincial Teaching Achievement Awards.
- The School of Accounting was recognized as a "Liaoning Provincial Model Department for Advancing Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education in Higher Education Institutions."

Professor Yuan Qi serves as the lead instructor for one of the first batches of National Model Courses and Exemplary Faculty Teams for Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education, as well as for one of the second batches of National First-class Online Undergraduate Courses. She has been honored with such titles as National Outstanding Teacher and National Exemplary Faculty Member for Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education. Her accolades include first prize in the Second National University Teaching Innovation Competition, recognition for innovative work in the National Teacher Education and Teaching Information Exchange Activity, the Grand Prize in the inaugural Liaoning Provincial University Teaching Innovation Competition, and the Grand Prize in the inaugural Liaoning Provincial University Teaching Competition.
