Recently, the 2025 Ministry of Finance Joint Research Project with Provincial Departments was announced. The research project titled "Study on the Effective Implementation of Fiscal Asset Management Functions and the Comprehensive Strengthening of State-owned Asset Management in Administrative and Public Institutions," led by Professor Yanli Chen from the School of Accounting, has been approved as a commissioned research project.
This project is based on the national key discipline of our university and effectively integrates research forces from government, industry, academia, and practice. It clarifies the strategic functional positioning and internal logic of state-owned asset management in administrative and public institutions within the context of government governance system construction and the enhancement of national governance capabilities. It also constructs a full life-cycle management system for state-owned assets in administrative and public institutions, providing a systematic theoretical basis and empirical support for strengthening data asset management in administrative and public institutions and effectively realizing the value of data elements.
Undertaking the Ministry of Finance Joint Research Project with Provincial Departments with high quality is an important means for the university and the school to serve national major decision-making needs and the central work of the Ministry of Finance. It aims to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the second and third plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee. This achievement not only directly serves the practice of fiscal reform but also serves as a benchmark for coordinated innovation between the central and local governments and the integration of theory and practice. It provides continuous impetus for the modernization of national governance and has positive significance for promoting the "Double First-Class" initiative and expanding the influence of the accounting discipline.
