On the morning of September 25th, the School of Accounting at DUFE and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (Special General Partnership) Dalian Branch held a signing and licensing ceremony for the practice base. Qing Zhang, Managing Partner of the Northeast Cluster at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (Special General Partnership), Li Wei, Senior Manager of the Northeast Regional Human Resources Department, Fenglong Wang, Risk Consulting Director of the Dalian Branch Office, Wei Wu, Senior Manager of the Tax Department, Yufan Liu, Campus Recruitment Director of the Human Resources Department, Jinyan Li, Audit Department Manager, Qianqian Tang, Tax Department Manager, Na Liu, head of Risk Consulting Department, and Yanli Chen, Secretary of the General Party Branch of School of Accounting, Xiaofang Dong, Deputy Secretary of the General Party Branch, Kejing Chen, Deputy Dean, Xiaoyi Gao, Degree Secretary of the Training Work Office, Mo Chen, Counselor of the Student Work Office, and 19 student representatives participated in this activity.
Yanli Chen, on behalf of the faculty and students of the School of Accounting, would like to express sincere gratitude to Deloitte Dalian Branch for its meticulous arrangement of this activity, as well as to Deloitte Dalian Branch for its continuous assistance, guidance, and support in the development of the school. She introduced the basic situation of the School of Accounting from four aspects: development history, organizational structure, subject construction, and talent cultivation. She stated that since the change of the school last year, the new leadership team of the school has been committed to integrity and innovation, striving for progress, and leading the high-quality development of various aspects of the school of accounting's work. She hopes that in the future, both sides can conduct in-depth and diversified cooperation, and contribute more to serving the regional economy and the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China.
Xiaofang Dong introduced the scale of students in School of Accounting and the situation of postgraduate entrance examination and employment. She stated that students have a high enthusiasm for participating in practical activities and hopes that through this activity, students can enhance their emotional understanding of the work of accounting firms and guide them to establish a correct career outlook. At the same time, she also hopes that Deloitte can open more long-term internship positions to students, building a solid foundation for future employment.
Kejing Chen emphasized the adjustments and changes made by the School of Accounting in terms of talent cultivation system and faculty structure under the background of digital transformation. He pointed out that the School of Accounting aims to stimulate the scientific research enthusiasm of teachers and students in the school by optimizing the introduction of teachers, adjusting course settings, establishing virtual teaching and research rooms, and implementing academic talent incubation plans, striving to advance on the path of cultivating first-class digital and intelligent financial talents. Xiaoyi Gao introduced the basic situation of the construction of the practical bases and the team of off-campus supervisor in School of Accounting.
Qing Zhang warmly welcomed the delegation led by the School of Accounting at DUFE. He pointed out that there are many outstanding DUFE alumni among Deloitte employees, and affirmed school of accounting's talent development system that keeps pace with the times. At the same time, he pointed out that digital transformation has brought significant impacts and challenges to the auditing industry, and we all need to break away from our inherent thinking and achieve business transformation and breakthroughs. He hopes that both sides can continue to deepen cooperation based on the practical base platform, focusing on cultivating students' skills in analyzing problems, using tools to solve problems, and boundary-cross learning.
Li Wei stated that changes in the macroeconomic and industrial environment have put forward new requirements for talent recruitment by accounting firms. She hopes that School of Accounting will guide the students to accumulate relevant knowledge in cutting-edge fields such as digital transformation, big data, and the Internet, while focusing on cultivating their professional abilities, and the school and enterprise will work together to create composite professional talents.
Yufan Liu organized student representatives from the School of Accounting to visit Deloitte Dalian Branch and comprehensively interpreted the campus recruitment process. Jinyan Li, Qianqian Tang, and Na Liu shared with the students the daily work and practical experience of the audit, tax, and consulting departments, and the atmosphere during the on-site interaction was warm.
After the visit and discussion, Yanli Chen and Qing Zhang, as representatives of both parties, signed a cooperation agreement for the practical base.
Xiaofang Dong, on behalf of the School of Accounting, awarded Wei Wu an appointment letter as an off-campus part-time supervisor. Kejing Chen and Qing Zhang, as representatives of both parties, mutually awarded the plaque of the practice base.
The signing and licensing ceremony of this practice base has come to a successful conclusion. In the future, on the basis of mutual benefit and win-win situation, both sides will focus on digital transformation, share resources, have complementary advantages, continuously optimize the talent training system, achieve organic integration of industry, academia, and research, and comprehensively and multi-level promote school-enterprise cooperation to a new height.
