Abstract:

This lecture focuses on how to conduct accounting case study and writing based on listed company cases. Specifically, this lecture starts from the financial data of Huakong Seg. By analyzing the changes of financial data and its connotation, we discover the operational status of Huakong Seg and its specific reasons. Secondly, the specific root causes of the changes in the company's operating conditions are analyzed from the perspectives of related party transactions and the introduction of technology into the company. Then, the phenomenon is explained from the perspective of the introduction of foreign shareholders. In the end, the case is analyzed through theoretical interpretation and the method of case writing is illustrated.

Introduction of Speaker:

Danlu Bu is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Accounting at Southwest University of Finance and Economics, a member of the National Accounting High-End Talent Project of the Ministry of Finance (Phase 5, Academic Category), an advisory member of the First and Second Enterprise Accounting Standards Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Finance, a non-practicing member of Chinese Certified Public Accountants, and a non-practicing member of Chinese Certified Tax Agents. Bu is in charge of several research projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, and Sichuan Provincial Philosophy and Society. Bu has published many academic papers in Economic Research, Accounting Research, China Industrial Economy, Financial Research, Nankai Management Review, Financial Research, China Accounting Review, Abacus, China Journal of Accounting Studies, China Journal of Accounting Research, Resources Policy, International Research Journal of Applied Finance, Accounting, Education: An International Journal, etc. Bu was awarded the third prize of the Annual Excellent Paper of the Accounting Society of China and the Liu Shibai monograph prize of Southwest University of Finance and Economics.
